I'm Nikki, a multidisciplinary designer with experience in visual and interaction design for digital products.

I started out working in graphic, print and branding design in Ireland before moving to London in 2010 to study a masters in service design. I have predominantly been working on digital products and services for the past few years developing my skills in the areas of user research, data analysis, product road-mapping and prototyping.

My strengths lie in user experience and user interface design. I prototype to all degrees of fidelity, from sketches to clickable mocks. I code a little and stay up to date on development practices to recognise the opportunities and limitations technology brings.

I worked at digital agencies AV BrowneSidekick Studios and Mint Digital before switching to freelance work in 2014. I have experience leading design projects, co-ordinating workshops, conducting user research sessions and managing teams. I'm also not afraid of a spreadsheet or two.

I teach when possible and have previously lead the post graduate service design pathway at Ravensbourne University, and the contextual studies pathway for students of visual communication design at the University of Ulster.

I'm open to working freelance with individual clients or contracting with agencies. If you think I can be of help, please get in touch at hello@smallsherry.com
